Welcome to the Radiation Therapy and Dosimetry working group (RTD-WG) page. The goal of this WG is to coordinate the exchange of information related to GATE developments and actions in the field of radiation therapy and dosimetry applications. Our goal is to make sure that the members of the collaboration involved in that field are well aware of what other members of the collaboration are doing related to that field.
Examples of such applications :
- dose distribution estimation from photon and electron beams in cancer treatement,
- hadrontherapy dose and imaging applications (dose monitoring with PET or prompt-gamma),
- targeted radionuclide therapy,
- brachytherapy,
- dosimetry in nuclear medicine
- dosimetry in radiology
- and so on ...
